Box<\/strong> stumbled over?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this short article, we explain simply and clearly what these terms mean, how they differ and when which variant makes sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"alias-weiterleitung-postfach\">What alias, forwarding and mailbox have to do with each other<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short: A <strong>P.O. Box<\/strong> receives and stores e-mails, a <strong>Alias<\/strong> is an additional address for the same mailbox, and a <strong>Forwarding<\/strong> automatically forwards messages to another account.<br>To help you better understand which variant is intended for what, we explain them in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is an e-mail inbox?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <strong>P.O. It is important to keep this in mind: Everyone involved naturally has access to all emails in this mailbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is email forwarding?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Forwarding works like a digital letter carrier:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E-mails sent to a specific address are automatically forwarded to another mailbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Example:<br>You have <strong><a>support@meinefirma.de<\/a><\/strong>, but would like all messages there to be sent automatically to <strong><a>max@meinefirma.de<\/a><\/strong> go to. Then set up forwarding.
