Helping People Help Themselves
The DIY website with a website gardener by your side
You’re a craftsman, an artist, or a small business owner who needs a solid website—no frills or bells and whistles. A site you can maintain yourself and, if needed, one that includes a showroom for easily selling your products—such as your artwork, classes, or services. At the same time, your budget is limited.
Perhaps you've already tried creating a website yourself—whether using your preferred AI, a classifieds provider, or a website builder—and realized that there are a few pitfalls to watch out for when building a sustainable and scalable website.
We've received a few of these „calls for help“ and have been thinking about how we can help in this situation.
The solution is the DIY website
Your new website is a WordPress installation featuring our in-house MaiNetCare Page Builder. It comes equipped with its own components, layouts, and features that have proven effective in client projects over the past few years. We provide the hosting, set up all the components you need for a successful website, and ensure ongoing security and uptime.
One feature that saves a lot of hassle in everyday life: You can manage organizational details—such as your phone number, email address, mailing address, restaurant menus, or hours of operation—all in one central location. This may sound like a minor detail, but in practice it’s one of the most common mistakes on company websites: scattered information, where a change made in one place is often overlooked elsewhere.
Now that we've launched the website, it's your turn:
You fill the pages and placeholders with „content“—that is, with your text, images, and graphics. New components such as call-to-action elements, tables, or sliders are possible.
Your website is optimized for all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
You’ll manage the content yourself, following the instructions we provide. If you have any questions or encounter any problems during the development phase, we’ll of course be there to assist you personally.

Proprietary sales platform
If you’d like to set up an online store for your artwork, we’ll build it together: We’ll help you with the configuration, but you’ll be the one to add the products and product groups and link them yourself. You’re also responsible for providing the images. But don’t worry—we’ll show you how it’s done so you can get right to work. We often even get feedback that working on it is really fun!
What about day-to-day operations?
Once it's set up, your website will go live and can then be viewed online. We'll go through a checklist one more time to ensure that all the important settings are in place and that your website can be found online.
Our small hosting and maintenance package ensures that your website runs smoothly. WordPress can be tricky if you’re not familiar with it, but thanks to our security strategy, industry-standard, tested plugins, and automated monitoring, you don’t have to worry about its operation: your website just works.
